Fantasy Football- Waiver Wire for Week 15

Now that your team has made it into the playoffs, there is no room to slack off. Every match is a must-win to move on. Remember adding players to keep your opponent from winning is just as effective as adding a player to help you win.

QB Jalen Hurts Philadelphia Eagles 17% Owned- 17-30 167YDS 1TD 18CAR 106YDS

If Jalen Hurts has yet to be picked up in your league because of last week’s bad matchup or because of the Eagles’ makeshift offensive line, consider yourself lucky. Hurts shattered all expectations and is now the must-add player for week 15. What Hurts did in his first career start was quite amazing. Hurts was efficient with his passing game, but it was his100+ yards rushing that impressed me. He also has one of the juiciest matchups in all of fantasy football: the Dallas Cowboys.

WR Lynn Bowden Jr. Miami Dolphins 1% Owned- 9TGTS 7REC 82YDS 1CAR 2YDS

Lynn Bowden stepped up as the lead target monster once WR’s Devante Parker and Jakeem Grant left the field. And if both continue to be out, Bowden should again see a riches of targets. With most of their RB core depleted because of the injury, the Dolphins’ offense will have to move the ball through the air. It looks like rookie QB Tua Tagovailoa already got into a great rhythm with Bowden, making him a great volume-based option for a third WR spot or a viable flex option in week 15.

TE Irv Smith Jr. Minnesota Vikings 6% Owned- 4TGTS 4REC 63YDS 1TD

As I’ve said all season, the TE spot this year has been awful other than TE Travis Kelce, so when one emerges with some value, it is an asset worth grabbing. Smith was the best pass catcher for the Vikings on Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and has looked like the best TE for the Vikings after TE Kyle Rudolph’s injury opened the door.

RB Tony Pollard Dallas Cowboys 21% Owned- 11CAR 39YDS 2TGTS 2REC 9YDS 1TD

RB Ezekiel Elliot has fallen like most of the top backs from this season. Instead, Pollard has come in the last four games, earning double-digit points in two of them. The offensive line is completely different than what the Cowboys were hoping to have all season and Zeke has suffered but Pollard seems to be picking up steam. I feel like the Cowboys need to start giving Pollard more options. Zeke might not be able to be a full lead back anymore this season.

Extra Additions: QB Mitch Trubisky Bears; QB Baker Mayfield; RB Trayveon Williams Bengals; RB Rashad Penny Seahawks; WR KJ Hamler Broncos; WR Gabe Davis Bills; TE Cole Kmet, TE; K Daniel Carlson Raiders; K Tyler Bass Bills; DEF Arizona Cardinals; DEF New England Patriots.
