Best-Dalvin Cook RB Minnesota Vikings-30CAR 163YDS 3TD 2REC 3TGTS 63YDS 1TD
Cook not only proved that he is one of the best backs in the league, but he also single-handedly beat the division-leading Green Bay Packers. The Vikings came into week 8 after their bye sitting at 1-5, which was good, one of the worst records in the league. Their opponent, the Packers, were sitting pretty on top of the division. Still, the Vikings were getting their best player back, and man did Cook put on a show. He scored all the Vikings’ touchdowns, and he led his team in rushing and receiving yards.
If the Vikings can get this kind of play out of Cook for the rest of the season, they might have a chance at coming back and sneaking into the playoffs in 2020. Cook allows the whole team to have the pressure taken off them. QB Kirk Cousins doesn’t have to put the offense on his shoulders when Cook is going as he did on Sunday, and this also helps allow the young Vikings defense not to have to take the field as much. If Cook can keep this up and get the Vikings in the playoff hunt, he will have a chance to be in the MVP conversation as one of the few non QB nominees.

Worst-Lamar Jackson QB Baltimore Ravens-13-28 208YDS 2TD 2INT 16CAR 65YDS 3FUM 2LOST
Jackson was the best player in the league and led the Ravens to the best record in the 2019 season. But so far in 2020, something has been off with Jackson. On Sunday, he had his worst game of the season against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Jackson committed four total turnovers and almost had five. No doubt, the Steelers have one of the best defenses in the league, but Jackson played so bad he would’ve blown this game against almost any team in the league.
Jackson had a good amount of rushing yards in this game, but his 4.1 average was surprising. Jackson is one of the most gifted runners in the NFL, and is killing the Ravens’ gameplan. In addition, Jackson had a passing average of under 50%. The Ravens and Jackson still sit at 5-2, but both losses are to teams they will see in the playoffs and just makes you wonder if Jackson will ever figure out how to win the big game with his style of play.
