Football being caught

NFL-2020 Season Predictions

Are we ready for some football? I’m not even sure if fans, players, coaches, and owners are prepared for what will be a crazy season, but football is here, and let’s talk about what teams and players I like for this season.

  • NFC West-Seattle Seahawks
  • NFC North-Minnesota Vikings
  • NFC South-Tampa Bay Buccaneers
  • NFC East-Dallas Cowboys
  • Wild Card-New Orleans Saints
  • Wild Card-Atlanta Falcons
  • Wild Card-Arizona Cardinals
  • NFC Champion-Dallas Cowboys
  • AFC West-Kansas City Chiefs
  • AFC North-Pittsburgh Steelers
  • AFC South-Tennessee Titans
  • AFC East-Buffalo Bills
  • Wild Card-Indianapolis Colts
  • Wild Card-Baltimore Ravens
  • Wild Card-New England Patriots
  • AFC Champion-Pittsburgh Steelers
  • MVP-Russel Wilson QB Seattle Seahawks
  • Defensive Player of the Year-Myles Garrett LB Cleveland Browns
  • Coach of the Year-Sean McDermott Buffalo Bills
  • Offensive Rookie of the Year-Clyde Edwards Helaire RB Kansas City Chiefs
  • Defensive Rookie of the Year-Isiah Simmons LB Arizona Cardinals
  • Super Bowl Champions-Dallas Cowboys

AFC Champion-Pittsburg Steelers

I don’t think the Kansas City Chiefs will repeat this season. Not because they aren’t the best team, but because they won’t have the same push for that title that they had last season. On the other hand, the Steelers, specifically QB Ben Roethlisberger, have one last shot at winning that coveted Lombardi Trophy. Last year, the Steelers were able to get an 8-8 record with unproven QBs, Devlin Hodges and Mason Rudolph, after Big Ben went down in week 2 with an elbow injury. The Steelers’ defense took huge steps forward while Big Ben was out, one of the biggest reasons I like this team to win the AFC. Big Ben should be able to rejuvenate the offense to go with their top-five defense. I like Big Ben to lead one last charge towards the Super Bowl.

MVP-Russell Wilson QB Seahawks

Russell Wilson has been considered one of the best QBs in the game for a while now but has never won MVP. Last year, Wilson (4110YDS 31TD 5INT Rushing 342YDS 3TD) had a fantastic season, but Lamar Jackson took the league by storm and snagged the MVP. This year, Wilson will finally get his due after leading the Seahawks to the best record in the league.

Super Bowl Winner-The Dallas Cowboys!!!

The Dallas Cowboys have had loads of talent over the past couple of seasons but weren’t quite able to turn that into a title. With new head coach Mike McCarthy at the helm, the Cowboys could be bringing the title back to Dallas. The Cowboys added rookie WR Ceedee Lamb, taken in the first round adding to Amari Cooper and Mike Gallup, perfect for McCarthy’s base offensive three-wide set.

The Cowboys already had the best offense last season, and McCarthy is only going to get more out of Dak Prescott, a top-three QB, and Zeke Elliot, one of the best RB in the league, gets to keep running behind one of the best lines in the league. The Cowboys defense has young playmakers all around its defense, but their one weakness is their secondary. But the rest of the defense should be able to back up the secondary just enough to help this team win it all.
