Best – Bo Bichette SS Toronto Blue Jays – 5-5 3R 1RBI 1HR 2SB 1BB
The Toronto Blue Jays have some of the best young talent in all of baseball and one of those young guns was on full display Wednesday night against the Miami Marlins. One of these young talents, Bo Bichette, was perfect, doing everything he could to help his team get a win.
Bo did a little bit of everything, he showed off his speed-swiping up two bags to bring his season total to 4, he helped get the offense on the scoreboard with 3 runs to bring his season total up to 9, and he blasted a HR in the 8th to bring the team within one run of the Marlins. Bichette made it on base after every at bat, bringing his average to .352. The Blue Jays fell to the Marlins in extra innings 14-11 but with the highlight of watching this young phenom kill it on Tuesday.

Worst-Tyler Kinley RP Colorado Rockies – 0IP 4H 5ER 1BB 0K 17PC 1L
The Colorado Rockies are one of the most surprising teams in the NL this season but if they do not start to get some real support from their bullpen, it is going to fall apart quickly. The offense has always been the lifeblood of this team. What was shocking this season is how well the starting pitching has been. The pitching has been a major contributor to why the Rockies have the best record in the NL West. The problem with this team is the shaky and unreliable bullpen.
Tyler Kinley is a perfect example of this issue. When Kinley came into the game on Wednesday night against the Arizona Diamondbacks, the score was 5-5 and when he departed from the mound, the Diamondbacks had taken the lead 10-5; a lead the Rockies would not come back from. Kinley could not register one out before he left the game. Unacceptable for any pitcher on any team. The Rockies are going to need their pen to be on point as they come up against some of the best offenses in the league. A weak bullpen will destroy any chance of making the playoffs. With this performance I think the Rockies might want to give Kinley some time off before his next appearance as they need to hold on to their slim lead in the NL West.
