Best-Michael Conforto OF Mets-4-5 1R 5RBI 1HR
The Mets have been a huge letdown so far this season but this in no way shape or form because of their superstar OF Michael Conforto. He kept his monster season (.331AVG 6HR 22RBI 23R) going on Wednesday, providing the big offense needed to take down the Baltimore Orioles.
Conforto is only 27 and has really improved his home run and RBI totals each of the last three seasons but it always came at the cost of a low batting average. This season, he is putting up power numbers and a great batting average for the first time in his career. The only problem is that the Mets are really struggling as a team and sit at 16-21.

Worst-Jordan Montgomery SP Yankees-.2IP 5H 4ER 1BB 2K 39PC 1L
The Yankees were the prohibitive favorite to win the American League and go to the World Series. Now, they are just hoping they can survive long enough to get healthy and come back in the playoffs.
One of the replacements, SP Jordan Montgomery, might keep the Yankees from even making the playoffs. Montgomery couldn’t even pitch a full inning on Wednesday night against their rival the Tampa Bay Rays. The Yankees are down 4.5 games to the Rays and 4-6 over their last ten games.
