Best-Marcell Ozuna DH/OF Atlanta Braves-3-5 3R 6RBI 3HR
The Braves signed Marcell Ozuna in the offseason, and analysts questioned the value added to an already outfield-heavy roster. To add to the confusion, Ozuna left a lot to be desired with his actual play. The Braves are laughing all the way to the bank with Ozuna assigned as a designated hitter.
Ozuna culminated this season with a massive performance in Fenway Park on Tuesday. He became the only NL player to ever have three home runs in Fenway Park. Ozuna has also helped the Braves balance the loss of Ronald Acuna Jr. Acuna has been in and out of the lineup this season, dealing with injuries. Ozuna gives the Braves one of the deepest offensive teams in the MLB, and they will be a dangerous team to face come playoff time.

Worst-Sonny Gray SP Cincinnati Reds-.2IP 5H 6ER 3BB 1K 1L
The Cincinnati Reds were the team most picked to win the NL Central, but they have fallen flat on their faces. Even their good players are beginning to fall victim to their foul mojo. Sonny Gray had an ERA of 1.94, but after tonight’s performance to the Cardinals, his ERA has jumped to 3.19.
The Reds ended up losing to the Cardinals 16-2. Even after Gray left the game, there isn’t anyone on the team that has the ability to help the Reds recover. The Reds didn’t make any big-name trades to make a run for a playoff spot, but with performances like this, the playoffs are out of the question.
