Best – Mike Trout OF Anaheim Angels-3-4 4R 6RBI 1HR
Mike Trout is the best player in baseball, and it’s games like this one that he makes it look so easy. I wish more people realized how good of an athlete Trout is, but playing in Anaheim is hard for people to past. The Angels have not been a very good team and have only made playoffs once in the last ten years.
Trout started slow this season before taking leave for the birth of his child. Once he returned, he came back with the dad’s vengeance. Trout had the most RBI’s on the day, and the Angels as a team scored the most runs (16) and got the Angels a much-needed victory. Sad to say, even with this great game, the Angels sit at 12-22. Yet another season lost.

Worst – Josh Hader CP Milwaukee Brewers-.1IP 0H 2ER 5BB 1K 1BS
Josh Hader is the best closer in the game and has been dominant this season, but something happened on Saturday night. He couldn’t get the Pirates to swing at anything he threw, and he couldn’t find the strike zone to save his life.
Hader didn’t have to take a loss after he was bailed out by his team who hit a game-winning two-run home run in the bottom of the 9th. He is usually the one constant on the whole Brewers team, but something was off on Saturday, which prompted Hader to get his first blown save. The Brewers are out of the playoff picture as of now, and they will need Hader at his best going forward if they want any chance to get back in the playoff picture.
