MLB-2020 ALCS-Game 1

Tampa Bay Rays v Houston Astros

The Astros were one of the biggest longshots and the least favorite team in the league this season. But they have been chugging along and putting up great game after great game.

The Astros sent out Framber Valdez (6IP 4H 2ER 4BB 8K 95PC 1L), pitched pretty dam good but not good enough to keep the Rays from scoring. This outing was a little bit wilder than his typical outing with four walks. Free bases that the Rays were more than happy to take.

The Rays were able to send out Blake Snell (5IP 6H 1ER 2BB 2K 105PC 1W) since Manager Kevin Cash made the bold move of not pitching Snell in game five of the divisional series. Snell’s great pitching silenced the Astros’ bats as they fell 2-1.
