Either you are starting your playoffs or going into the next round, now is the time to snatch up these players to bring home the bacon. These players will be immediate impact players for your squad to own the playoff run.
SP Touki Toussaint 4% Owned
Toussaint lines up for a two-start week against the Orioles on Monday and the Mets on Sunday. The Braves have Kyle Wright slated to start on Sunday, but his ERA is 8.05, and if Toussaint pitches well on Monday, he will earn that second start. Toussaint has an awful ERA of 7.89, but he also sports 28K over his 21 innings pitched. I love the K potential, and a two-start pitcher is always a great pick up.
1B/3B Bobby Dalbec 25% owned
Dalbec (8-21 4R 4HR 7RBI .381) has been on fire this past week and would be the 19th overall player. Dalbec is playing every day without anyone taking any playing time away from him. He will have six games of production. He is also bringing a great pop he has shown since being called up by the Red Sox. Dalbec and the Red Sox get the Marlins for three games and then face the Yankees in Boston over the weekend. The series with the Yankees’ pitching staff is bad right now, which should encourage and offensive game.
C Sean Murphy Oakland Athletics 25% owned
The catcher is one of the worst positions in fantasy baseball. Unless you have an elite C option, it probably could use an upgrade. Murphy (6-14 6R 2HR 6RBI .429) has stepped his game up this week, becoming a top 40 overall player, which helps the Athletics because they just lost All-Star 3B Matt Chapman for the season. The Athletics have always wanted Murphy to do well, and as their top catcher prospect, Murphy is eager to prove to the Athletics that he will be their catcher for a long time.
